Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Rising Tide Counseling website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.

Services

Rising Tide Counseling provides individual, couples, teen, and family counseling services as well as LPC supervision. The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Not a Crisis Service

This website and its contact methods are not monitored 24/7 and are not appropriate for crisis situations.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), go to your nearest emergency room, or call 911.

Appointments & Cancellations

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following:

• A $50 cancellation fee applies to appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice.
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in termination of services.
• Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times regardless of late arrival.

Payment

Sessions start at $125. Payment is due at the time of service. Rising Tide Counseling does not currently accept insurance. A superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement may be provided upon request.

Confidentiality

All therapeutic communications are confidential as required by HIPAA and Missouri state law. Exceptions include situations involving mandatory reporting requirements, imminent danger to self or others, or as otherwise required by law.

Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use of the site.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and design, is the property of Rising Tide Counseling and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Rising Tide Counseling is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on any information provided herein.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
